Wow, this is a heck of an upgrade from the Weber OEM grate I had. Twice as thick and all stainless steel! All the welds are perfect, thick tubing, quality handles. Tried some wings on the first go, perfect! Would buy it again but I have a feeling I won't need to!

Heavy gauge grate that should last many years with regular cleaning and maintenance. If you have a weber and use a vortex, this is the right grate for you.

Ok I may end up revising this later (I doubt it) but my initial impression is that this is superior quality. I bought cheaper "stainless steel" grates on Amazon that were thin and started to come apart within a few uses. And they were definitely not stainless steel. Amazon needs to crack down on that stuff.This one is heavier gauge and heavier duty construction in general. It's just right really. And I think it really is stainless steel. I think this will last for years.Buy this one. Don't cheap out.

Based on other reviews I checked all the welds and they are solid. I don't like the way that the handles attach using little screws. I tightened them down with the included hex wrench which stripped. The screw heads were fine so a used my own hex wrench. Other than that, the grate is exactly as advertised. An affordable and super durable replacement grill for my ancient Weber kettle.

I'm very pleased so far. There are two basic features that makes it better than a plain, basic grill. One, opposing ends of the grill lift up so that I can add charcoal. And two, the center of the grill lifts up and out for adding charcoal or when cooking with my Vortex. Cleans relatively easy and is holding up very nicely. Easy to recommend.

Bought this 2-piece grate for my 22" Weber kettle grill to replace one of similar type that rusted prematurely. This one seems to be of better quality that should last significantly longer. So far so good.

Works well with center griddle

One of the best products I have purchased for my Weber Grill in a long time. I got so sick of the constant rust that other items had or how flimsy and thin gauged everything was. I took the chance and paid more for this stainless steel and I am happy to report that after a couple months it had shown to be a positive purchase.This item is well worth the price and the quality is right up there with higher priced products.. and the flavors it helps give are fastanstic. Unlike the flavor that a rusted out grate gives you. My thanks to the maker and my thanks to the seller.

Great grill for my standard weber

How did I ever grill without it? This high in stainless steel is so easy to clean and so versatile with his different openings both sides and center gives you access To add additional charcoal or two grill in the center as well. I guarantee you will love this new accessory.

Received as a gift. This grate it far and away better built than expected. Very heavy duty.

I'm quite pleased with this stainless steel grill grate. I confirmed it's truly stainless steel (non-magnetic) and it's a good heavy weight that cleans up well. The hinged doors are handy for adding additional charcoal, although I don't have any need for the removable center panel, and not even sure what it's for. The lift handles have to be attached with screws, and they're small so be careful when assembling that when you drop a screw, you can find it again. Screws and an allen wrench are included. I expect this will last a good long time.

This grate/grill is much thicker and heavy duty compared to the orginal and it's Stainless Steel so time will tell if that is actually true but it certainly looks the part.My kettle grill did not come with trap door to put more fuel so this allows me to easily keep my temps even without hassle.Very pleased
