It was very easy to put together. It works great with my fire pit. Allows you to enjoy your fire pit and do some great cooking over an open fire. The rotisserie for being battery powered runs great even when my chicken was unbalanced when mounted. It has plenty of room for cooking multi items and very easy to change height.
bought this to install on patio firepit. works like a charm. nothing like rotisseire on open flame. I can grill and rotissiere at the same time. Just wish the pind on the hieght adjustment pegs were a bit longer
This is a neat rotisserie, and grill. It's not very sturdy, talking about, swaying from side to side. The assembling directions for the brackets, the pictures are inverted. Otherwise, simple to assemble. Not wide enough at the base, to fit around a National Park fire pit. Had to pull off the plastic end caps, and set the rotisserie on top of park grate. Works great! I made two mistakes, one; should used twine to secure the spiral cut ham. Two; Used the fire to cremate clean the grill. That ate the paint off. I suppose the positive view is, I won't be eating any paint chips. For a really good smoke, use wood chips, and soak them. Wet chips are much more smokey. The ham was amazing, the buffalo steaks were great, and the barbeque chicken, was off the hook.
This quality of the unit was of good quality. Being unsure if D batteries would last our full cooking time we placed our electric unit on the stand. The stand is of good quality. It was difficult to adjust the height onece cooking began due to the location of the adjustment screws. We used the platform to warm/cook other items to go along with the meal. We are happy and very satisfied with the stand and tod unit- unsure about battery operated motor since we didnt use it.
Worked awesome over campfire on a cold windy thanksgivings. Roasted two Cornish game hens simultaneously for 1.5 hours and they came out perfect. Also grilled vegetables on the grate which worked well.
Worked OK, but too hard to adjust once it gets hot
This is perfect for our camper when the fire pit has no top just sits over the ring used as a stand as well as spit
Works great for open flame rotisserie! I have used a similar design for several years with no problems other than losing some parts due to my own stupidity!
Works very well. I added a plug in rotisserie motor. It isn't very tall, so I set it on cinder blocks to get it above my BBQ.
Great quality
Fantastic way to cook, easy to assemble and use, Fun, fun , fun.
I have 2 of these. Absolutely love cooking on my fire pit. I grabbed a cage and do wings with this setup....out of this world. Highly recommend this for the outdoor fire people!!!!!
This product works as advertised
We use it for cooking up at our cabin
It worked very well over our retreats camp fire pit. I would reccommend burning off the coating on the grate before cooking directly on it. Not certain how long the frame will last after being exposed to the elements but so far so good.
very handy love it all adjustable your way
Not made for over fire -I imagine it will work on a bbq
Great to cook over a fire pit and easy to adjust grate
We had a great bbq the other night. Tonight we're having tacos on the fire pit.Easy to assemble
Live this grill. A bag would be helpful for it, but otherwise really nice and easy to set up.
So far it works great . I preburned the paint off the grill grate it would be nice to have the grate made of stainless steel but it works .
Our Son in law is an avid charcoal griller and now has perfected rotisserie grilling with this product.
Does a whole 20 pound turkey no problem just would have been better with a pan for the coals
Excellent. Wish it had a rechargeable battery pack, but I would still purchase it again. 2- D cell batteris
Decent quality and easy to use. No issues. Batteries last a surprisingly long time.
Easy to assemble and easily to work with
Wanted to use it a few times before writing a review. This lil setup is great! The sturdiness is as expected from a small size square tube but I used concrete blocks on the legs to plant it firm on the ground. Batteries last a couple cooking days with 3 chickens per day, so maybe 6-7 hours total which is plenty for me. A couple family members want one of their own now! Deff recommend.
