Onlyfire- 8569 Charcoal Ash Basket Holder , Small

This basket is a perfect fit in the large Big Green Egg. Just a very slight gap between the fire box and basket which is the way it should be. This basket appears to be well constructed and has a nice heft to it, it's weight is 3.5lbs. Dimensions on the listing are accurate as well 14 inches across the top, and 9 inches on the bottom. I am very happy with this purchase.

Works great with a VISION GRILL classic series M, size L. It's the same size of the BGE LOne of its best qualities is that you can use it without the lower grille of the BGE to accelerate the speed at which the coal is ready to work. And the best part you can clean the ashes quickly.

This is a must have for a Kamado Joe classic. It makes cleaning the ashes after a cook a breeze! Im surprised the kamados don't already come with this, but man, worth every penny

Took a cutoff wheel and removed the handles from the basket. After the change, the basket works great. The handles were in the way on my kamado joe grill. Its holding up well and makes cleaning in between grillings a lot easier.

Half the price of "name brand" version. No issues whatsoever with this product. Still going strong after years of use.

Handles are too tall to work properly with kamado Joe classic. Seems to be made well. Will cut handles off most likely.

I liked the fact of being able to pull out the charcoal from a basket rather than having to scoop it out and it works quite well with getting the fire up and going, great product.

Good quality. Heavy material, so hopefully will last a long time. I had to bend the handles out some to accomodate my plate heat diffuser but works great. I have a vision smoker and had problems keeping fires going on long burns. This has helped stop the air flow issues I was having.

Works as designed

After wasting my time getting the name brand accessory made by same manufacturer as my smoker, I had to find one that actually worked and fit.This fits the Joe Classic II very well, and it allows you to use your heat deflectors, something the other options (including official model) don����t allow.

This is a real convenience item for use with the big green egg. It enhances both the ease of cleaning and the performance of the unit at about half the cost of the major brand. It is sturdy and well constructed. Fit a large green egg perfectly.

I actually used this in a upright smoker and was looking for greater air circulation around the coals and wood it this basket definitely provided it. Seems very sturdy at the moment.

I read quite a few reviews regarding whether or not the would fit the Kamado Joe and people said it would, and others said it wont.Short answer is that it WILL fit and accommodate the Divide & Conquer rack, but just barely. If you remove the cast iron KJ grate, there is plenty of room. If you leave the cast iron grate on, the Divide & Conquer rack still works, although not perfectly because the basket handles are slightly taller than ideal. None of this height issue is a problem though in real world use - the Divide & Conquer rack still works, although not perfectly. I suppose you could bend the handles inward a hair and everything would be fine.

It almost made it to three years, but there was too much rust to keep going so I ended up replacing it. I could have probably taken better care of it, so for what I had paid I would say it was satisfactory.

When you compare this to the BGE brand, this is a great value. I have used this for about 5 cooks and have been pleased with the results. Cleaning is a very simple process where you can simply shake out the small pieces and ash and add more coal for the next cook. heavy material. sturdy build. Highly recommend this.

Description states it will find a Komodo Joe Classic but the handles where too high. I modified it to fit (took a grinder and cut off the handles. In the end I am very happy with the basket.

So far so good I've used it 4 x and it's totally fine especially because it's so much cheaper in price .

This is a great fit for the Large Akorn grill. It's the best accessory I could have bought. It's made very sturdy and should last.

You just spent 1K or so for new grill. This thing improves air flow and makes cleaning ashes so easy and neat ! Don't hesitate .get one. Best thing for your new Egg !
