Hand wash new griddle with mild dishwashing liquid. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth or paper towel.

What should be done after using it?

Sprinkle cooking oil or pour about 1/4 cup of warm water on the cooking surface to loosenany residue, gently move the residue to the greasedrain with a non-metal spatula. Hand wash with warm soapy water. After coolingdown, dry thoroughly with a soft cloth or paper towel. Store it in a cool, dry place. （NOTE: If using water, be certain that the griddle has cooled down that you will not be harmed by hot steam or grease spray generated by water contacting the hot surface.）

What important tips should be followed before and after use?

1. Clean hot griddle with warm water or let it cool and use cold water. 2.Do not usecold water to clean a hot griddle. Use non-metal utensils such as silicone, plastic, or woodenutensils. Never usesharp items on it. 3. Never use any abrasive cleaners on your ceramic-coated griddle. It includessteel wool, scouring pads,and even coarse salt.
