Onlyfire- 8552 Cooking System for 18" Kamado Joe Classic

Using it right now for first time. Maintains heat within about 10 degrees on a windy day. Not as sturdy as I would have likes with the half moon grates but still an awesome buy. Would definitely recommend.

Fits perfectly in a 24' pitt boss kamado grill

The clearances are ideal. Water pan fits with room to spare, below the grates and sitting on the deflector plate. Plenty of room for lots of charcoal underneath.

I like that this allows me to add a deflector below the grate. Or use the grates with two zones at two different heights. Because I can use the deflector below the grates, I can use this to smoke food like I would on my kamado grill. I'm not going to stack each little piece of charcoal in a perfect line like a snake to smoke food. I want to dump the charcoal in, light it, and put the food on. This allows me to do that.As others have mentioned, if you use the top grate it's possible your food would touch the lid. Fortunately, I have the rotisserie/pizza oven kit that they sell. I use the ring from that kit to make the lid higher up so I can use the top grates. I smoked a brisket on it last weekend with no problem.

I had been looking for a replacement grill rack for my Pitboss Kamado 22in as I really didn't care for the one that came with it. I was looking for a tiered grate system similar to the Kamado Joe and this one was perfect. Fit the pitboss kamado perfectly and the halfmoon grates and ceramic plates give me multiple levels of cooking options. If you're looking to replace your grill grates in your Kamado style grill, this is it.

I installed this "onlyfire Cooking System Fit for Large..." in a Vision Grills Kamado Professional S-Series. The opening is 18-inch and the insert dropped right in resting on the edge of the inside bowl. The grill closes perfectly. While the entire kit is perfectly functional, the metal rack is thinner and lighter than the original insert, and so is the deflector stone definitely giving cheap feel. The half-moon design makes it easier to work while lighting up the grill as it does not require removing the entire rack to add more charcoal (when smoking). The lips of the rack are a little too long requiring playing with the half moons to insert and remove; perhaps this will get easier over time. I do like the product, knowing what I know now I would have given the Kamado Joe original parts stronger consideration.

I purchased this, knowing.... I had to modify it! I only needed the ring and stones. With an angle grinder and cut off wheel... I removed the rack holder portion so, I could keep my original rack.

Finally !This bridged the gap between my Vision Grill pro-S and a classic Joe.I can now use classic Joe accessories on my vision grill.Thank you !!

Fits my K24 grill perfectly.The shelf system and heat deflectors really makes this BBQ as versatile as a kamado joe for half the price.I'm not sure how well the stainless will hold up over time but all in all very happy with this product.

Fits great! Also fits kJ soapstone. Good build quality & heat deflectors are satisfactory.

What a brilliant bit of kit. Well made and really versatile. I love being able to raise the cooking area and place great deflectors down. It's much easier to clean too as the half moons for in the sink.

I'm using this on a Vision HD-1 from Home Depot. It dropped right in and fits perfectly. Makes it the same as a Joe divide and conquer. The vision original grate does not fit though

Solid product but the heat deflector is a little thin. Worked fine but concerned about breaking. Much easier to add wood to BGE with this product than other similar. Overall very satisfied.

Works good in my classic Vision B series grill. Love the split heat deflector and split grates. Also sets grate up where I wanted it.

Fits my new Louisiana Grills Ceramic Kamado K24 like it was made for it.The heat deflectors are thin, yes. BUT the Kamado Joe Classic heat deflectors are the same dimension, when these do break.The grills are as heavy as KJ grills as well.Worth every penny

Great for my oklahoma joes blackjack kettle

Very good quality, especially the grill. Turns my Weber Kettle into a Kamado style. Does not work with all charcoal baskets, for example, the Vortex. Works with the Weber baskets and loos charcoal. I did salmon on indirect heat and it was great. If you’re using both deflector plates, give it adequate time to come up to temperature. Some of the energy is used in heating up the ceramic plates, so add a bit more prep time.
