Rotisserie BBQ Pork Shoulder

Ingredients

3–4 lb pork shoulder

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp smoked paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the rub
Combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

2. Season the pork
Coat the pork shoulder evenly with the spice rub. Let it sit for 30 minutes.

3. Preheat the grill
Set up indirect heat at 300°F–325°F.

4. Attach to the rotisserie
Secure the pork shoulder tightly on the spit rod.

5. Slow roast
Cook for 2–3 hours, rotating continuously. This allows the meat to baste itself and cook evenly.

6. Add BBQ glaze
Brush BBQ sauce over the pork during the last 20 minutes of cooking.

7. Slice and serve
Rest the pork for 10 minutes, then slice thinly or shred for sandwiches.
