How to prevent the griddle from warping?
- Avoid using large amounts of frozen food on a hot griddle.
- Avoid preheating the griddle too much and use the burner to heat up slowly, not quickly.
- Avoid high power burners concentrated in a small area to burn, four corners of the griddle are not flat and griddle is too big for the burner which will cause the uneven heat and thus may warp.
How to clean the grill plate?
- Switch off the grill after cooking. While the griddle is still hot, spray or drizzle cooking oil on the surface of the griddle.
- Use a wide, flexible stainless steel scraper to quickly transfer the residue to the grease drip tray.
- Use the scraper together with paper towels to carefully clean the grease drip tray. If there is a lot of grease in the grease drip tray, let the griddle cool down before cleaning it.

put it on the gas grill, after washing it, and turned it up and added oil to burn it in. Then turned the grill down to low and cooked pancakes and then bumped the temperature up slightly and cooked bacon. Placed a temperature dial on the flat top and used that as a judge of the heat. Easy to clean up after use by pouring the grease into a cup and wiped with paper towels and then finished with Dawn Power Wash. All was good. Happy with my purchase.

Very convenient to use, heats up quickly and evenly. Need to lubricate in order to prevent the food from sticking. The big problem is the cleanliness.

Looks great, it was slightly warped right out of the box though. I washed it then heated on a hot gas grill to expel any oils. It didn't warp any further. Cooked breakfast and it worked great. A light coat of cooking spray and eggs were perfectly non-stick. The size is great to cook for up to 4 people at a time. It was heated from 2 burners below and had very even heat distribution across the griddle. The grease trap at the front is a must because there is no other means to clear debris/grease when cooking other than wiping.

Disclaimer: I have only used this on my grill 3 times.Each time I used it I was impressed with how well the meal turned out. I was able to cook a pound of bacon in one shot with room to spare. The heat distribution is I'm sure dependent on your grill but I had less hotspots than I normally do while grilling. The left side was still a little hot but not nearly as bad as using the grill without the griddle. To clean I used a junk kitchen towel a metal spatula and water while it was still hot and it worked like a charm. It seems like a solid griddle and look forward to using it for years to come.

Let it get hot.Do the stainless water drop test. Sizzles away not ready dancing drop of water it's ready.Load it up with oil and it's amazing. If the catch it loaded with grease I'll let it cool and scoop it out.I like this better than the flat top we have at work because I can cover the whole cook surface with my bbq lid.

Use this on my bull built in grill. I use it to replace two of the grills so now I can use the grill and flat top at the same time. A little small but there is just two of us so we make it work. Small enough that I can put it in the dishwasher which is a plus.

Now that I have used this grill several times, I've found only 2 minor issues:1... grease draining is a CHORE. If only there were a drain screw. Trying to lift it to drain the grease is difficult and dangerous while the grill is hot enough for the grease to flow.2... cleaning along the edges.Positives:1... very stable on my grilltop.2... stores on the grilltop with the cover closed.

Love it as it fits grill perfectly. Cooks even etc. One pretty big disappointment is that the back corners are not welded up and bacon grease ran out the back onto the grill burners and started a pretty good fire. I will have to weld it up myself. Just make sure your grill is leaning a bit towards you so grease runs to the front tray and you will be ok. I may tilt the burners in my grill a bit until i weld it. Maybe the fabricator just forgot and others wont have this trouble. Still a very nice well made griddle.

Love the size. Just 12 wide so only uses half the grills top. Leaves the other side available for direct heat. Nice heat diverters on the bottom to insure even heating and strengthens so as to prevent warping. Seems to be a high quality stainless steel which will not rust or pit. I didn't bother to install the handles because it just sits on one side of the grill. Heats evenly because of the well thought out design. I only leave reviews for things I really consider a good value and good quality. You should be very happy as I am.

Was a good size to put on top of grill. Using for bacon, onions etc while I grill my meat. Didn't use the handles. They got in the way. Over all, happy with my purchase.

Was looking to buy a Blackstone but this gives me the option of how to cook versus having two large units on the patio.

I put several layers of seasoning on it before it's madden voyage. I'm accustomed to using a cast iron skillet about 1/3 the size. This will take a bit of a learning curve to figure out how to get the most of it, it is a lot more reactivetoflame temp than im used to. But first attempt of reverse searing went off flawlessly.

Have a new grill but wanted to cook on it like a blackstone so I bought this to lay on top of grates. Works nice can cook almost anything on it!
